Narada
Churn an entire ocean?! How do you even do that?

Page 4 — The Unlikely Alliance
Vishnu
You will need the Asuras' help — you are too weak to do it alone. Promise them a share of the Amrit. Use Mount Mandara as the churning rod and Vasuki, the serpent king, as the rope.
Ask the Asuras to help you. Use a big mountain as a stick and a giant snake as a rope!

The Devas swallowed their pride and asked the Asuras for help. The Asuras agreed — they wanted the Amrit too! Together, they carried the mighty Mount Mandara to the ocean.
